I am laying in the green, itchy grass. My hands holding my camera; they are shaking slightly because I’m trying to keep them still. I inch the camera under a flower. I focus to make the stem of the flower clear and the petals of the flower, a blur in the background. I press the button down and SNAP – success!
Photography is one of my favorite hobbies. The odd part; however, is I don’t like photographing people, or adorable babies, or weddings, or family photo shoots. No – I prefer objects from odd angles. I don’t mind practically hanging upside down in order to get the perfect shot. My mind is like a camera. Everything I look at morphs into a unique photo. No matter how common an object is, with a camera in my hand, I can make the ordinary unusual.
